Summary:This thesis concerns fully nonlinear parabolic and elliptic equations. We introduce the notion of delta-viscosity solutions for such PDEs. We prove that delta-viscosity solutions are uniformly close to the actual viscosity solution, with an explicit error. As a consequence we obtain an error estimate for certain monotone finite difference approximations.
