Summary:This thesis presents an ATLAS study of the tensor structure characterizing the interaction of the scalar Higgs boson with two Z bosons. The measurement is based on 25 fb-1 of proton-proton collision data produced at the Large Hadron Collider with center of mass energy equal to 7 and 8 TeV. Nine discriminant observables in the four lepton final state are used to search for CP-odd and CP-even components in the Lagrangian beyond those of the Standard Model. These are represented by (n/a) tanalpha and (n/a), respectively. Both of these parameters are found to be consistent with their predicted Standard Model values of zero. Values outside the intervals --3.24 < (n/a) tanalpha < 0.91 and --0.82 < (n/a) < 0.87 are excluded at 95% confidence level. These results are combined with a search for the same structure in the interaction of the Higgs with pairs of W bosons.
